Angela Cullen was spotted in the Ferrari garage in Fiorano
In a promotional video from ’s first test day with his new team, Angela Cullen was spotted decked out in gear. The personal trainer has reunited with the seven-time world champion after leaving his entourage in early 2023.
Cullen first worked with Hamilton in 2016, and her first year with Hamilton coincided with Nico Rosberg winning the Drivers’ Championship title. The New Zealander then guided the star back to glory, and he won the following four consecutive crowns in style, dominating team-mate Valtteri Bottas.
After a handful of winless campaigns, Cullen left Hamilton’s team in the early stages of the 2023 season. No reasons were given for the 50-year-old’s exit, and she spent some time away from the sport before landing in IndyCar with Marcus Armstrong.
“So when I left Formula One, I thought I was moving away from motorsport,” she told the IndyCar YouTube channel. “I retired, actually. So I took a year off last year, and then I connected with Marcus Armstrong and I just started working with him on mental skills and things in the background.
“In the offseason, I was sponsored by SOS Hydration, which he was sponsored by as well, and they connected us. He said, ‘Do you want to come to a race?’ and I was like, ‘Oh yeah, I’d love to come out.’
