is planning to one day give her daughter an heirloom worth £7,000.
The Duchess of Sussex, 43, treated herself to one special jewellery item when she was an actress on Suits before marrying , with the idea one day that she would have a daughter to pass it onto.
Now, it is believed Meghan’s daughter Princess Lilibet, three, will be the proud owner of the jewellery staple one day, which is a two-tone Cartier Tank watch.
that the duchess brought the watch when Suits was confirmed to run for a third season. At the time, Meghan was not married and did not have any children.
Meghan : “I’ve always coveted the Cartier French Tank watch. When I found out Suits had been picked up for our third season… [it] felt like such a milestone — I totally splurged and bought the two-tone version.”

She continued: “I had it engraved on the back, ‘To M.M. From M.M.’ and I plan to give it to my daughter one day.
“That’s what makes pieces special, the connection you have to them.”
The watch currently retails for just under $9,000 and is now just one of a selection of Cartier watches Meghan owns.
The duchess, who married Harry in 2018, , gifted to her by her husband, 40.
