Launching in Dublin on June 15, the world tour will see the American industrial rock band across Europe before expanding to North America. The U.S. dates will kick off in Oakland, Calif. on Aug. 6 with only two dates bookmarked in Canada before that leg of the tour finishes in Los Angeles on Sept. 18.

The upcoming tour dates mark the first time the award-winning band has toured since 2022. The band, which was inducted into the rock ‘n’ roll Hall of Fame in 2020, has sold more than 30 million records worldwide across its multi-album discography (including 11 studio albums).

When is Nine Inch Nails coming to Vancouver?

The American rock band, fronted by Trent Reznor, will play Rogers Arena on Sunday, Aug. 10. The local date will be the first Canadian stop on the Peel It Back World Tour.

The second Canadian tour stop will be on Aug. 23 at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto.

Super fans of Nine Inch Nails, or those who may miss out on the Vancouver date, can get a chance to see the band again in Seattle on Aug. 12 at the Climate Pledge Arena.

When was the last time Nine Inch Nails played Vancouver?

“The Tension 2013 tour proved every bit as intense as the days when Trent Reznor was a mess. The difference, as the lyrical content of the band’s latest Hesitation Marks makes clear, is that his bleak outlook lets some light in now. Not much, grant you,” Derdeyn wrote in his review.

The upcoming world tour can be expected to tap into the band’s impressive catalogue of archival and more recent music. Nine Inch Nails last released an album on March 26, 2020. Titled Ghosts VI: Locusts, the new music was released simultaneously with the album Ghosts V: Together.
