Emmerdale fan suspense has finally been lifted about the looming death on the show, thanks to Sharon Marshall spilling the beans on This Morning.
In a soapland roundup with Cat Deeley and , Sharon inadvertently dropped a bombshell about who’s marked for demise in , prompting sheer surprise from the presenters.
Whispers have been swirling in recent weeks hinting at Anthony Fox’s impending exit from the drama, and now, courtesy of spoiler maestro Sharon, it’s been verified he’s bowing out.
As talk veered towards this weeks ITV soap opera escapades, Sharon confirmed details about Anthony’s impending end: “Ok so he escaped last night’s episode.”
Cat, wincing with intrigue, questioned: “Does he die?” Not one to hold back, Sharon casually broke it to them: “Yeah”, reports .

This elicited an electrifying “Ohh,” from Ben. In a follow-up to her shocking reveal, Sharon clarified: “On Thursday,” which prompted Ben to chime in, convinced she was just toying with viewers: “I thought you might have teased that bit,” as both hosts were visibly staggered by the candid disclosure.
Defending the decision to divulge the gritty details about Anthony’s fate this Thursday, the soap guru gave the intrigued hosts something to chew on: “Well the tease is, what happens? Who kills him?”

Sharon revealed Anthony will die this week
Anthony, portrayed by Nicholas Day, has been unveiled as one of ‘s vilest villains, with his horrific history slowly coming to light.
He is revealed to be the biological father of Ruby Fox-Milligan (played by Beth Cordingly), having sexually abused her when she was young. Anthony’s arrival hinted at imminent turmoil, disclosing that isn’t Steph’s real father.
Now, there are seven possible suspects implicated in his murder, among them Nicola King and Laurel Thomas, siblings Cain and Chas Dingle, Aaron Dingle, , and Ruby Milligan.
