The map shows snow may fall in England and Scotland
Parts of Britain are likely to be hammered by a 458-mile as the turn white and purple for areas from Cornwall to Yorkshire. Northwest Scotland is also forecasted to get snow.
WXCharts weather maps, generated on Wednesday using Metdesk data, show that are likely to hit these areas on January 26.
As per the weather maps, 1-2cm of snow may fall there, while other southern regions appear unlikely to witness snowy conditions.
Temperature levels are likely to hover around 1 to 2C, the latest weather maps have suggested.
The freezing maps come as the for wind and fog as it predicted unsettled weather this week and the weekend.

According to the experts, the change in conditions is being driven by the weather over the other side of the Atlantic.
The national weather forecaster explained: “A large, very cold pool of air over parts of North America is generating a stark contrast in temperatures across the continent, acting to strengthen the jet stream resulting in deeper low pressure systems being able to develop, this jet oriented such that these lows will then be steered across the Atlantic towards the UK.
“By Sunday another area of low pressure could bring further wet and very windy weather across the UK.”

Precipitation forecasted for January 26
The ’s long-range forecast between January 26 and February 4 reads: “This looks like being and unsettled period across much of the country, but especially for northern and western parts.
“During Sunday and into Monday, another deep area of low pressure looks likely to move across the UK from the Atlantic, bringing wet and windy conditions to most if not all parts.
“Further spells of wet and windy weather look like moving east from the Atlantic to affect the UK during the rest of the period too, with drier, brighter spells in between.
“There is the potential for further weather warnings or even a named storm at some point. Temperatures overall are likely to end up being around or slightly above average, though wind and rain will make it feel chilly, and brief cool spells are likely between weather systems.”
