‘Grinch-Level Bulls**t’: Critics Slam ‘Vile’ Change To Trump’s New White House Website

Critics are ripping the removal of the Spanish language version of the White House website.

The resource — “La Casa Blanca” — was reportedly taken offline shortly after President Donald Trump was sworn back into office on Monday.

Initially, the whitehouse.gov/es link redirected to a “404 Page Not Found” message, with another link titled “Go Home” pointing visitors to the home page.

Amid anger and accusations that the Trump White House was literally telling people to “go home” with how the link was phrased, it was later changed to read, “Go To Home Page.”

The move ― which comes as Trump has vowed to mass deport millions of undocumented immigrants ― was slammed by social media users as “vile,” “unbelievably petty” and “some Grinch-level bullshit!”

The Activist Democrats account on BlueSky pondered: “I wonder how all the Hispanics who voted for him feel about the fact the Spanish language version of the White House website and official Twitter account were taken down.”

It’s unclear if and when the Trump White House will reinstate the service.

White House principal deputy press secretary Harrison Fields reportedly told the Associated Press that the second Trump administration is “committed to bringing back online the Spanish translation section of the website.”

However, as the AP pointed out, the Spanish language version was similarly nixed when Trump entered the White House for the first time in 2017.

It only came back online when former President Joe Biden took power in 2021.

I am “shocked” that White House homepage does not have a Spanish-language version. Here we go again.
