Donald Trump has been inaugurated as the 47th president of the United States, marking the start of his second term in the White House.

The swearing-in ceremony for President Trump was relocated indoors to the Capitol Rotunda a first in four decades and the traditional inaugural parade was substituted with an event at an arena.

At the Capitol, Vice President JD Vance was the first to be sworn in, taking the oath read by Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh on a bible gifted to him by his great-grandmother.

President Trump took his oath moments after noon, using both a family bible and the one used by President Abraham Lincoln at his 1861 inauguration, with Chief Justice John Roberts administering his oath.

Before the inauguration, President Trump and his wife, Melania, were greeted at the North Portico of the executive mansion by outgoing president Mr Biden and first lady Jill Biden for the customary tea and coffee reception.

Later, former president and Kamala were spotted in deep discussion before they took their seats in the Capitol building in Washington for Trump’s inauguration.

Jeremy suggested that Kamala subtly criticised President Trump in her final chat with Biden before they handed over power.

The expert lip reader alleges that the 82-year-old offered Kamala a three-word message of encouragement before the inauguration ceremony began. According to Jeremy, Biden asked Harris: “You okay? You deserve everything”, as they walked together.

Kamala then replied: “I know that.”

As they entered the building before the inauguration ceremony started, it is said that President Trump expressed his worries about the health of his predecessor.

Jeremy disclosed that as they stepped into the Capitol, a fatigued Biden admitted: “I feel, rough. It was a late one last night.”

Trump, showing concern, replied: “I know, you look rough.”

‘s offspring Barron was lauded as a “man of class” for his courteous gesture just after his father was inaugurated as the 47th president of the United States.

Immediately following President Trump taking the oath with his right hand raised, Barron was seen approaching and to extend a handshake.

An expert lip reader asserted that the 18 year old extended a warm welcome to the duo. Jeremy claimed that the young man addressed Mr Biden with: “G’day to you, sir”, and greeted Ms Harris with: “Ma’am, good day.”

Barron received commendation in the video clip, which was widely circulated on X, with numerous comments praising his “class”. One user remarked: “Barron has been raised right,” while another suggested that “Barron Trump 2044 campaign starts now”.

President Trump and vice president JD Vance were seen exchanging congratulations shortly after their swearing-in ceremony. With his left hand on the bible, held by his wife Usha, he pledged to uphold and defend the constitution of the US.

Shortly thereafter, President Trump was sworn in by Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts. Trump took the oath with his right hand raised, while his wife Melania held two bibles beside him.

One Bible was a treasured gift from his mother; the other, steeped in historical significance, was the Lincoln Bibleused by former leaders, including Abraham Lincoln himself in 1861.

Following the oath-taking ceremony, expert lip reader Mr Freeman disclosed some tender exchanges between the President and the First Lady: Trump whispered “Congratulations, darling,” to which Melania responded with a heartfelt “Thank you”.
