Noel Gallagher’s brutal two-word message to Jade Thirlwall’s boyfriend after Brits feud

star Jade Thirlwell revealed her partner Jordan Stephenson confronted Noel Gallagher during their feud, and was told to “f*** off” by the legend.

In a candid interview featured on The Louis Theroux Podcast on Spotify, Jade opened up about her feud with .

Back in 2021, the iconic girl group Little Mix achieved a significant milestone by becoming the first girl band in history to win the Brit Award for Best British Group, a moment celebrated by fans and industry peers alike.

However, not everyone was impressed by Little Mix’s accomplishments. Renowned musician expressed his disdain in an interview with The Sun, stating, “Little Mix, with the greatest respect, are not in the same league as Oasis. Not even in the same f***ing sport.”

Talking about his comments, Thirlwall told Theroux: “We’re very different bands, so I’ll give him that respect,” We’re very, you know, we’re a pop girl band. Yeah. I don’t know why he was comparing us, actually.

She then revealed that she and boyfriend Jordan Stephens spotted Gallagher at Glastonbury, prompting her boyfriend to go over and say:“You are really rude about my girlfriend. Do you want to apologise?”

“He went, ‘F*** off!’” Thirwall said. “And I thought, do you know what? Fair play.”

In response to Gallagher’s remarks at the time, Little Mix member Thirlwall made a fierce rebuttal during her guest appearance on the well-known comedy panel show Never Mind the Buzzcocks.

She confronted Gallagher’s assertions on Never Mind the Buzzcocks, pointing out that his belief that they were undeserving of the Brit Award stemmed from a misguided notion about women in music. Thirlwall emphasised: “Noel said something about that we were undeserving of the Brit Award because we’re women and don’t… well, we do write music, but he thinks we don’t write music.”

She continued: “Yeah, shame, really. Because you know, we are the most successful girl group in the country, but he’s not even the most successful performer in his family.”

Little Mix went on hiatus in 2022, with their four original members Thirlwall, Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Perrie Edwards all pursuing respective solo careers.

In the same interview, Thirlwall spoke about the intense grief she felt after Nelson abruptly departed from the group in 2020, while confirming she did not begrudge her former bandmate’s decision.
