Loose Women addresses Linda Robson’s absence after Pauline Quirke’s health announcement

Loose Women has finally addressed the mystery of Linda Robson’s recent absence, following the heart-wrenching health update about Pauline Quirke.

On Tuesday (January 21) morning, Pauline’s husband Steve Sheen released a poignant statement confirming his wife’s dementia diagnosis and her subsequent retirement from acting. Married to the Birds of a Feather icon since 1996, Steve revealed that Pauline was diagnosed with the condition in 2021.

The Loose Women panel, featuring Ruth Langsford, Kelle Bryan, Janet Street-Porter, and Jane Moore, dedicated a segment of Tuesday’s (January 21) show to honour Pauline, who had previously graced the programme as a guest panellist.

Ruth Langsford then clarified the reason behind Linda Robson’s noticeable absence, stating that Linda, who famously co-starred with Pauline in Birds of a Feather, was already aware of her friend’s condition for “some time” and would have discussed it on the show if she weren’t away on holiday.
