Masked Singer fans point out clue ‘everyone missed’ that points to Bush’s identity

fans have been quick to point out a clue that “everybody missed” from this weekend – and it could cement the identity of one star.

Singing sleuths have been busy trying to work out just who is underneath the iconic Bush costume this season. So far clues have pointed to a gardener of some sort, including that they are “quite happy pottering about here with my plant friends, making them feel all special”.

Bush also said performing can be “trowel” and error, but confessed they’re “tree-atrical”. In week one, Bush performed Wake Up! by The Boo Radleys, followed by Jess Glynne’s Hold My Hand in week two.

While the judges have guessed everyone from to Billie Piper, fans on are sure there’s something most people missed – and it could point to legend Natalie Cassidy, or someone good at impersonating her.

Redditor u/GrrrlRi0t posted: “A potential quick clue you may have missed from Bush. So I think many of us believe it’s Natalie Cassidy, people are talking about the number 9 on the door and it being a reference to Inside Number 9.

“‘She’s not in Inside Number 9’ no she’s not BUT she is in Psychoville, another (underrated) show by the Inside number 9 boys Reece [Shearsmith] and Steve [Pemberton].

“Thought I’d share as I’ve seen people talking about the 9 clue and not being able to figure it out, I think it could possibly be a reference to that.”

Another fan said: “It’s a reference to 9. She was on that.”

But someone else quickly pointed out: “Morgana Robinson, famous for her Natalie Cassidy impression, was in an episode of Inside Number 9!”

Someone else disagreed: “Based on how obscure some of the clues have been, it could mean that whoever the singer is once at a 9 inch pizza. There are so many ways to read into what a 9 could represent. Personally I thought it was Natalie Cassidy at first but now I’m not so sure, but that’s nothing to do with the 9.”
