After a few months without any new content, Mortal Kombat 1 is finally getting .
Available as part of the Khaos Reigns expansion pass, Conan the Barbarian is joining the MK1 roster of playable fighters.
Conan the Barbarian has a January 21 release date on , and PC. While there’s no official release time, previous new Kombatants have typically been added to the game at 4pm GMT UK time.
Unfortunately, however, Conan the Barbarian will only be available to owners of the Khaos Reigns expansion pass.
The Khaos Reigns expansion pass grants one week early access to new characters. If you don’t have the Khaos Reigns expansion and want to add Conan the Barbarian to your roster, you can purchase the character individually from January 28.
Needless to say, Conan the Barbarian has his own selection of fatalities. You can see his first fatality in the video below.
Daily Express will update this article with Conan the Barbarian Fatality inputs once the character joins the roster on January 21.
Conan the Barbarian will also have his own Animality, Brutality and other specials for fans to discover.
One more guest fighters will join the MK1 roster in the coming weeks and months, including the T-1000 from Terminator 2.
Seeing Arnie as Conan square off against the T-1000 should make for interesting viewing, so fingers crossed we won’t have to wait very long for the final DLC character to make an appearance.
It’s worth noting that the Khaos Reigns expansion is currently discounted on the PlayStation Store.
Currently available for just £15.99, the Khaos Reigns expansion also adds new story content, as well as playable characters including Noob Saibot, Cyrax, Sektor and Ghostface from Scream.
