fans found themselves distracted as they tuned in for the quarter finals of the Two quiz show by presenter Victoria Coren Mitchell’s unusual headwear.
The 52-year-old broadcaster welcomed viewers back to the popular games show as she introduced the two teams battling it out to secure a place in the semi-finals.
This week, two teams of four showed off their impressive general knowledge skills as they faced off for the coveted spot, with the team called Four Opinions pipping their rivals the Al Frescans to the post in the nail-biting final round.
It’s fair to say the mum-of-two looked nothing short of sensational as she returned to the helm in a striking red floral dress which she accessorised with a green feather fascinator – and her unique fashion choice certainly didn’t go unnoticed by fans.
It didn’t take long before viewers flooded to X – formerly known as Twitter – to share their thoughts on her ensemble online. One queried: “#onlyconnect Is a fascinator fascinating??” A second quipped: “Has anyone seen my dead peacock? #OnlyConnect.”

However it is far from the first time she has worn a fetching fascinator to present the show. On the episode braodcast on December 23 she donned a red fascintor to go with her red dress.
On Christmas Eve, in another of the seasonal specials, she wore a fascinator that looked like Christmas presents stacked to give a top hat effect.
The ebullient presenter has also been photographed wearing a snazzy sequinned beret in promotional shots for the show.

“You’ve done some really good answering. You’ve been really fun. Thank you very much for playing.
