Removing limescale from shower heads can be difficult
If your head jets are blocked and water is spluttering out of it, you likely have build-up.
Theresa Choh-Lee, brand leader of Grohe, a manufacturer of solutions and kitchen fittings, said limescale build-up can “reduce the water flow in your shower and even block the nozzles completely.”
Sometimes, if there are lots of mineral deposits in your shower head, mould can develop, which can cause the jets to turn black.
Removing limescale from shower heads can be difficult, especially if your shower head is very high up or large.
Some people resort to using chemicals such as limescale removers or bleach but these can be costly and can damage your shower head if they’re not used properly.
