Inauguration Day takes place every four years on Jan. 20, per USA.gov, or on Jan. 21 if Jan. 20 falls on a Sunday.
This year, Inauguration Day falls on Monday, Jan. 20, 2025, which also happens to be Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
