CEO Benedetto Vigna was left impressed by ’s LinkedIn post ahead of his first weeks as a driver for the Prancing Horse. The Brit embarks on a new chapter of his glittering F1 career with the legendary Italian constructor after a tough campaign with in 2024.

The Brit joins at a difficult time in his career. Hamilton celebrated his 40th birthday earlier in January, making him one of just two stars on the current grid – the other being Aston Martin’s Fernando Alonso – in their forties.

With age no longer on his side, Hamilton has been forced to block out the noise following his worst F1 season to date. The Brit claimed two Grand Prix victories in 2024, but his average performance levels were far below the lofty standards he sets for himself, and the seven-time world champion ended the year seventh in the Drivers’ Championship.

As a result of his struggles, Hamilton’s pace and commitment have been questioned, but the F1 legend is ready for his new challenge. “I could not be more excited for the year ahead,” he posted on LinkedIn. “Moving to Scuderia , there’s a lot to reflect on.

“To anyone considering their next move in 2025: embrace the change. Whether you’re switching industries, learning a new skill, or even just taking on new challenges, remember that reinvention is powerful.

“Your next opportunity is always within reach. Here’s to 2025—a year of embracing new opportunities, staying hungry, and driving forward with purpose. Let’s make it one to remember. Andiamo.”
