Jimmy Carr has been candid about his cosmetic procedures
Comedian has once again debuted a fresh appearance, following his candid admission that not much of his original face remains intact.
The 8 Out of 10 Cats presenter, aged 52, is well-known for embracing cosmetic enhancements and it seems the father-of-one may have indulged in further aesthetic procedures.
In images published in , Jimmy was seen enjoying an evening at Chiltern Firehouse on Thursday, where his dazzling white veneers were impossible to miss as he flashed a broad smile, also showcasing his 2022 hair transplant.
He cut a dapper figure strolling down the street in a black three-piece suit paired with a patterned tie.
The stand-up comedian has never shied away from discussing his physical overhaul since gaining fame in the early noughties, often using his own alterations as material for his comedy. Jimmy has acknowledged undergoing multiple ‘tweakments’, including a hair transplant, dental veneers, and Botox injections.
In a candid chat on back in 2021, he revealed, “I’ve gone a bit crazy with it, I’ve got the new teeth and the new hair I’ve had a proper midlife crisis. Like, right, let’s get everything done”, reports .

He even humorously compared his constantly changing visage to Trigger’s broom from Only Fools and Horses that underwent numerous head and handle replacements. Embracing the world of cosmetic treatments, he confessed, “I’ve had a little bit of Botox, some filler everything I can get done.”
Jimmy has reassured fans that it’s more about upkeep than a complete overhaul: “My face is now like Trigger’s broom from Only Fools And Horses, very little of the original is still there. Maintaining is the thing, I don’t think there’s anything you can do plastic surgery wise, or augmentation wise, that makes you look better, you can just sort it stay the same, that’s what you can hope for.”
The comedian also recounted a humorous encounter with Simon Cowell’s Botox specialist. “I was seeing a guy, getting a bit of Botox, and I was chatting to him and he said, ‘Oh I do Simon Cowell,’ and I went, ‘Yeah I think I better leave’,” Jimmy joked.

“‘What have you done . . . he looks like a melted candle’.”
In addition, Jimmy has spoken about undergoing a hair transplant after worrying he resembled a “snooker-playing vampire”. He humorously suggested using his pubic hair for the transplant but ultimately chose a graft from his own hair, aiming for the look of “an Armenian cab driver”.
He debuted his revamped look on the BBC football show Peter Crouch: Save Our Summer in June 2020, where host Maya Jama commented on his transformation.
Jimmy explained his decision, saying: “I tell you what I did, I went and had a hair transplant. I kind of had a look of a snooker-playing Vampire.”
Jimmy quipped that his hair was “socially distancing” from his forehead and declared he’d had enough. “I shaved my head and what they do is take hairs from the back of your head and they put them on the front,” he explained.
“Basically I had enough hair, it was just in the wrong place. It was a bit of redistribution.”
Another notable change in Jimmy’s look is his dazzling teeth. “I’ve had a lot of work done. I got my teeth knocked out and put back in,” he admitted at the Just For Laughs festival.

The comic underwent a significant makeover during an intensive three-day stint right after lockdown ended in 2020.
He endured an arduous 24 hours with the dentist over two days, where he received “rohypnol”, leading to a “dream-like haze”. “My cosmetic journey started about 10 years ago that’s more than veneers I would say,” he revealed on Gabby Logan’s The Mid-Point podcast.
“I got my teeth done, that’s the first thing I had done, they’re more than veneers. I got every tooth in my head done in one go,” he further detailed. “I did 12 hours in the chair the first day, then 12 hours the second, it was like a three-day affair with temporary things on, but it was pretty intense. I think they gave me Rohypnol that kind of drug intravenously into the vein and you’re sort of out of it and they get on with everything and you’re okay. It’s a dream-like haze, you’re in this strange space.”
