The Royal Family released a new photograph of on Saturday to mark her upcoming 60th birthday.

In , taken by Christinae Benezer, the royal can be seen smiling as she sits on a windowsill in her Bagshot Park home in Surrey.

Touching her face with her hand, the duchess wore a long white pleated skirt for the photoshoot, with a long-sleeved black jumper.

Since the image was released on the Royal Family’s official social media channels yesterday, royal fans have been sent into a frenzy, with many people saying that the duchess does not look like she is about to turn 60.

Instead, royal fans have praised the duchess, saying she looks much younger than her age. Sophie also received praise in the comments for her hard work for the Royal Family.

The duchess is set to celebrate her 60th birthday on Monday at her Bagshot Park home in Surrey with her nearest and dearest, including her husband Prince Edward.

It has not been confirmed exactly what her plans are for her big day on January 20.

As reported by various publications, it is on her big day as the new term is yet to begin. Sophie and Prince Edward’s son James is likely to be at his boarding school.
