Luke Littler fear comes true
Another week, another chance for a Littler title. The 17-year-old world champion – who can finally buy himself a pint when he turns 18 on Tuesday – will hope to be in the latter rounds of the Bahrain Darts Masters by the time this story goes out.
And later next week, Littler will compete in the Dutch Darts Masters. The Nuke is only getting better and some rivals are starting to fear that he might be too difficult to defeat.
Rob Cross said this week: “I think the biggest thing now for us all is how to stop him. It’s going to be like trying to halt a juggernaut.
“The more belief he gets, the harder it gets. He won’t win everything, a bit like last year. There’s no doubt it’s up to the likes of Luke Humphries, Michael van Gerwen, me and a few others to stop him.
“The only time Luke Littler has looked beatable is in the early stages of tournaments over a short format, like I did at the Grand Prix.”
