Last year, which claimed that her staff are allegedly “terrified” of her and her “belittling” behaviour towards them.

They alleged that the colleague had to take a “leave of absence after working on three episodes”.

The outlet alleged that “several others” claimed that they had to take “breaks from work to escape scrutiny”, leave their job altogether or undergo “long-term therapy” after working with Meghan.

The duchess’s former colleague said: “I think if Meghan acknowledged her own shortcomings or personal contributions to situations rather than staying trapped in a victim narrative, her perception might be better.” They added: “But who am I to criticise ? She’s doing great.”

The source claimed Meghan’s relationship with staffers followed a “similar pattern” of being “warn and effusive” at first to becoming “cold and withholding towards the person she[Meghan] perceived to be responsible” when something went “poorly”.

They alleged: “[It was] really, really, really awful. Very painful. Because she’s constantly playing checkers—I’m not even going to say chess—but she’s just very aware of where everybody is on her board.

“And when you are not in, you are to be thrown to the wolves at any given moment.

“[It was] undermining. It’s talking behind your back. It’s gnawing at your sense of self. Really, like, Mean Girls teenager.”

However, producer Jane Marie, who collaborated with the couple while they developed audio projects at Archewell, held a different opinion about Meghan.

She told the outlet: “She’s just a lovely, genuine person.” The Duchess of Sussex has been contacted for comment.

Last year, following the Reporter’s article, Us Weekly published its own cover story with named and anonymous staffers supporting the duchess, saying they were “dumbfounded by the claims”.

But after the ‘counter-attack’, fresh claims regarding Meghan’s attitude emerged after a courtier who reportedly worked for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex when they were working royals alleged to the Daily Beast that Meghan was a “demon” boss who had “psycho moments” during their service and made people “feel like s**t”. Meghan declined to comment on those claims.

Those reports followed previous bullying allegations which were made against the Duchess back in 2018, which she has long and vehemently denied.
