Bradley Walsh returns to host Gladiators
Gladiators star Bradley Walsh has shared a weekend ritual he loves to share with his wife – but one thing about it leaves him ‘moaning’.
presenter was telling Mile Fly Club podcast about his hectic schedule filming the hit quiz show. The conversation moved on to how winds down from his busy workload.
The 64-year-old host told the podcast host that he and his wife Donna life to watch Laura’s show – but the indecisiveness of the guests leaves Bradley ‘moaning’.
He said: “We sit there, Donna and I, we watch you all the time. We make a cup of tea, get the biscuits out and the shortbread (my wife loves shortbread) and we sit there and say: ‘I wonder where Laura is today.’

“So we find out where you are. And I’m always moaning about that show, honestly I think I’ve text you before when these people waste your time. You go around these countries and then they go: ‘Oh, I’m not sure.”
Bradley has presented The Chase for more than 15 years since it first appeared on TV screens to rave reviews.
While the quiz only films for 50 days a year that period is very intense, with TV bosses squeezing the filming of three episodes into one day. This means sometimes it is easier for Bradley to sleep at ITV’s Elstree Studios.

The presenter said: “I virtually live here (at the ITV studios). I have a constant room here now where I work from. We make three a day, so we start at 10 and we were done by 4.30. We made sure I had a short turnaround so I could fit this in.
“It’s a bit full on but it’s alright because tonight I’ll have a drink and I’ll watch a bit of TV and I haven’t got to get up in the morning. Do you know what I mean, I can have a lie in.”
Bradley and his son Barney, 27, began fronting the revamped game show last year.
Gladiators returns for a second series this evening (Saturday, January 18), airing on One at 5.50pm.
