The Google Pixel 9 was one of the most unexpected phones to drop last year, with a sleek new look and some very impressive phone specs, it’s arguably one of the biggest underdogs in the phone market.

Our reviewers absolutely loved the look of the device – and if you need a new phone, this is no exception. And now, thanks to its January sale, giffgaff is offering a much cheaper rate.

The handset usually sells at Google for £899, but there’s currently an increase of varying sales. Take , for example, its £725 sale price can’t match giffgaff, but it’s still a huge £174 saving.

Don’t miss…

The deal from giffgaff is great if you hate being stuck in a contract and need a swish-looking phone. Fitted with a Google Tensor G4 chip, it’s a speedy device to consider, plus users have guaranteed software updates for seven years.

However, if splitting the cost down into monthly payments works better for you then there is the option of £16.92 per month price along a 36-month contract – oh, and with a £20 upfront fee.

The only catch is if you’re new to giffgaff, you have to take out its £10 per month 25GB of data SIM. This is a competitive price, and along with unlimited UK calls and texts, plus 5GB of EU roaming include, it feels like a decent deal. However, it is frustrating for shoppers as it means you can’t pay for the phone on its own.

Don’t miss…

If you’re looking for some contract offers, – but be warned: these are lengthy 36-month contracts, so while the monthly rate is cheaper, you’ll be committed for a lot longer, a feature which may put some shoppers off.
