I will always be the first to proclaim my love for Target and the retailer’s ability to shell out some legitimately great products at accessible prices, many of them exclusive to the Target name. Given this reliable reputation, it comes as no shock that the company’s latest beauty arrivals are exciting and worth everyone’s immediate attention.

MCoBeauty, an indie beauty brand from Australia that is among the new (and nearly sold-out) launches at Target, has formulated some very convincing and affordable versions of viral goods like Sol de Janeiro’s famous fragrance mists, Drunk Elephant’s Lala Retro Whipped face cream and Charlotte Tilbury’s luxury makeup.

Other thrilling arrivals include TikTok-favorite glossy lip stains, a punchy body care collaboration with Jarritos beverages and effective skin treatments that don’t cost an arm and a leg. Shop all of these and more in the collection below.

A gourmand hair and body fragrance mist

You’ve likely caught a whiff of Sol de Janeiro’s famed fragrance mist for the hair and body, an incredibly popular and lingering gourmand scent that’s slightly nutty and perfectly vanilla-ed. Indie Australian beauty brand MCoBeauty has, according to TikTok, created a very similar version, promising that same balanced and warm sweetness, but at half the cost. This anytime-of-the-day mist comes in three other fragrances that also aim to mimic bestsellers from the Sol de Janeiro line.

A whipped ceramide facial cream

The Soufflé Dream moisturizing cream is another creation from MCoBeauty that bears some ingredient similarities to Drunk Elephant’s Lala Retro whipped facial cream. Like the Drunk Elephant formula, this moisturizer features a light and airy whipped texture that softens and rescues troubled skin using ingredients like 10 different seed oils and ceramides, which are the essential building blocks for a strong and healthy skin barrier.

The limited edition Native and Jarritos collaboration body wash

The buzzy body care brand Native is known for some pretty interesting collaborations (see: Girl Scout cookies), but this one might be the most exciting and juiciest yet. Jarritos, the makers of those adored Mexican fizzy beverages, paired with Native to create a limited-edition line of deodorants, shampoos, moisturizers and body washes that celebrate four fruity Jarritos flavors: watermelon, passion fruit, mandarin and pineapple.

This richly lathering body wash boasts a hydrating formula that’s free from surfactants, parabens and dyes. The citrusy scent features notes of pear and peony.

A multi-acid milk peel

Dermatologist-developed skin care brand Prequel recently landed at Target and one of its newly launched and solution-focused products is this multi-acid milk peel. This revitalizing complex uses five different acids plus enzymes to deeply exfoliate the skin, revealing a brighter and smoother texture with softer fine lines and diminished dark spots. The alcohol-free formula is balanced with squalane, a known nourisher that helps to hydrate and soften skin.

Nyx’s hydrating gloss stain

Nyx (known for its Fat Oil Lip Drip) has once again crafted a viral lip product that users on TikTok are snatching up left and right. The Lip I.V. is a hydrating gloss stain that has a very soft and refreshing texture, a shiny wet finish and impressive wear. Available in 12 buildable shades, the Lip I.V. can be worn as a traditional gloss or blotted off to reveal a long-lasting stain that won’t dry out the lips. The formula is packed with vitamins and nourishing coconut water while the unique applicator is specially designed for a precisely dosed application.

A skin-perfecting finishing powder

Luxury makeup lovers are likely well familiar with the Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Finish setting powder as well as its $48 price tag. MCoBeauty offers a formula so similar that one Reddit thread called it “obvious” — but for almost $40 less. Available in four flexible shades, including a universal translucent shade, the Miracle Flawless pressed powder uses soft-focus and micro-fine pigments that help to blur imperfections and fine lines. And like the luxury version, this formula also contains rose extract and sweet almond oil for a velvety smooth feeling on the skin that manages to still control shine, without making complexions appear overly matte and cakey.

Hydrating and brightening drops

These new gel serum drops from E.l.f. promise to pack a punch of dewy hydration using a juicy complex of hibiscus and hyaluronic acid, a reliable humectant that draws moisture into the skin, keeping it plump and healthy. The drops also contain niacinamide, a well-studied antioxidant that can brighten the complexion and even skin tone. You can use the E.l.f. drops on their own or mixed in with your favorite foundation for a customized glow.

A nourishing pre-cleansing oil

According to dermatologists that we’ve spoken to, using a cleansing oil as the first in your double-cleansing routine is one of the best ways to dissolve oils, impurities and makeup from your face at the end of the day. I’m personally thrilled to see Prequel’s nourishing pre-cleanse oil — a hypoallergenic and fragrance-free formula that promises to be suitable even for sensitive and eczema-prone skin — available at Target. It uses cica and rice bran oil paired with gentle exfoliants to melt away excess oils and stubborn makeup, without stripping the skin.

Target
A versatile lip and cheek balm

The indie beauty brand Colourpop is one of my all-time favorite suppliers of affordable cosmetics and hidden-gem formulas. And although the brand isn’t new to the shelves of Target, the adorably packaged Instant Crush lip and cheek balm certainly is. This foolproof cream is weightless and comfortable and packed with conditioning ingredients like cupuaçu and shea butters and a berry complex for a dash of antioxidant support. Available in four buildable shades, this balm promises to melt into the skin and leave behind a youthful dewy finish.

New Olive & June gel polish shades

Olive & June is a fan-favorite nail care brand that became available at Target in 2023 and, since then, launched tons of fun colors and manicure tools. One of the brand’s latest colors is Pink Goldfish, a sheer, glossy and iridescent pink shade in a gel formula for a longer-lasting and chip-free performance. You’ll need Olive & June’s salon-quality LED lamp, also available at Target, to properly cure the polish.

A pair of cooling and plumping hydrogel eye patches

Refresh and hydrate tired under eyes with Dot Dot Dash’s cooling hydrogel eye patches that are infused with skin-loving ingredients. These de-puffing patches contain plumping peptides — which have been linked to supporting collagen production — and hydrating cloudberry oil. Pop these in the fridge for even greater “chilling” power.
