ITV GMB Kate Garraway’s furious warning to co-star after ‘unfair’ The Masked Singer dig

issued a stern warning to her co-star after he made a savage remark about her hair.

The presenter, 57, hosted Friday’s instalment (January 17) of with Robert Rinder, sharing the latest headlines with viewers.

During the programme, the duo were joined by entertainment correspondent , who was in the studio to deliver the latest showbiz news.

With another episode of The Masked Singer hitting screens on Saturday, it prompted Kate to mention the backlash she received after she was unmasked as Spag Bol.

Shortly after her reveal, the broadcaster appeared on GMB wearing her costume.

“After I was chatting to you, loads of people said, ‘Kate Garraway’s hair’s a mess’. It’s like, it has just been under a mask. It’s been under a bowl of spaghetti.”

She added: “It’s not entirely fair.”

Unable to resist commenting on Kate’s appearance, Richard asked: “What’s your excuse today?”

Thankfully, the ITV host saw the funny side of Richard’s comment, but made sure to warn him about someone else.

“Karis the hairdresser will be after you,” she declared.

The Life Stories presenter made her debut as Spag Bowl during the launch of The Masked Singer on January 4. She belted out her own rendition of Look at Me by Geri Halliwell.

Unfortunately for Kate, she found herself in the bottom two and was unveiled as Spag Bol in the second episode, which aired the following evening.

After her reveal, Kate admitted to presenter Joel Dommett: “I can’t sing and I kept telling them that and they kept saying ‘it doesn’t matter’.”

The mother-of-two also confessed that her children Darcey, 18, and Billy, 15, were unaware she was participating in the show, and she even deceived them by claiming she was “doing something for charity”.

and Ed Balls caught up with Kate on Good Morning Britain, where they discussed the huge twist of not announcing who was under the mask until the following evening.

She quipped: “I know! It’s the first time they’ve done it. It was very exciting as well as traumatising for the family. I got my kids to watch which they were very confused about. They were like, ‘Why are you forcing us to watch this in real time?’”

Kate added: “But I didn’t know it wasn’t going to be revealed on Saturday, that’s how much in the dark you are.”
