Susanna Reid – £10m  

has been a familiar face on the small screen for many years, most commonly known for her impressive work on the ITV show.

She started her television career with a long stint at the , where she shot to fame on the Breakfast show.

Reid has now securely established herself as one of the most reputable TV presenters and journalists in the UK, and her reputation comes with a hefty salary.

It is reported that the star earns a whopping £1.1million salary at GMB after signing a new deal with ITV back in 2022.

It was previously thought that Reid was earning around £750,000 a year for her stint on the breakfast show, but The Sun reports that her old contract expired in November 2021.

A source told them: “Bosses rate her highly and wanted to keep her, but she didn’t agree straight away. She’s certainly played a strong negotiating game and it has worked out for her. Internally, it looks like she’s now the best paid female presenter on the network.”

The massive new salary makes the presenter the highest paid woman on British television, earning more than Holly Willoughby, who previously held the top spot.

With such a huge salary, it comes as no surprise that Susanna has been able to rack up an eye-watering fortune. According to , she is currently estimated to be worth $12million (£9.8million)

Richard Madeley – £3.8m 

Richard Madeley hosted Richard & Judy alongside his wife from 2001 to 2009 and then featured on This Morning, before hopping over to The Wright Stuff.

The veteran broadcaster later transition over to Good Morning Britain following ’s infamous exit – and he soon faced criticism from fans online over his controversial opinions.

The dad-of-two has a huge net worth of $5million – which is currently equivalent to around £3.8million – according to Celebrity Net Worth.

It’s a huge fortune that Richard’s writing career as a columnist and novelist has also attributed to. He has also written multiple fiction books, as well as an autobiography.

As for his current ITV job, Richard has refused to shed light on his salary, even during a recent debate about whether UK salaries should be public knowledge.

During the episode, he confessed: “See I can’t give you a logical reason for this but I don’t want to talk about how much I earn.

“I don’t know why, I think actually…” he began before being interrupted by co-host Trisha Goddard who suggested: “I think you are earning the most. Look at our online poll, Richard.”

Despite this, Richard insisted: “I was the same even when I was a terribly placed reporter on the Brentwood [newspaper].”

Adil Ray – £3.8m 

Adil Ray first shot to fame following his role on Citizen Khan and Ackley Bridge, making him a household name.

Yet despite his TV roles, the star originally started out in broadcasting when he landed a presenting role on a small Asian radio station.

He made history as the first Sout Asian British presenter to host a mainstream radio show in 1997 after he landed a job at Galaxy 105 – and received an OBE for services to broadcasting in the 2016 birthday honours.

In 2002, he ventured to the where he joined Asian Network as a late-night host of his own show and won best radio show at UK Asian Music Awards in 2008.

In 2012, he started to explore the world of acting when he starred as himself in the title role of Citizen Khan.

Following the success of the show, he landed his first serious acting role in the Channel 4 drama Ackley Bridge, where he played a local businessman Sadiq Nawaz.

His popularity and success led to him bagging his own episode of Who Do You Think You Are and in 2018, he became a presenter on Good Morning Britain, initially as a stand-in presenter.

Ed Balls – £2.5m  

Ed Balls has been presenting the morning breakfast show alongside his various co-hosts since 2021 – but he didn’t start out a career in broadcast.
