A 50ft hologram has left Londoners gobsmacked as a stunning array of images lit up the skies above Shoreditch, turning the night into a mesmerising exhibition.
Crowds were captivated by a dazzling 50ft hologram display, featuring striking images that transformed the Shoreditch skyline.
The holographic event, which unfolded over a two-minute duration, utilised cutting-edge technology to shock passers by, becoming the talk of the town.
Samsung were responsible for the spectacular stunt using groundbreaking hologram tech, all part of invitation for their Unpacked launch event – touted to be their most significant yet.

In a statement about the awe-inspiring event, Samsungs Annika Bizon, director of mobile experience, revealed: “This spectacle was designed to ignite imaginations and hint at the ground-breaking advancements we’ll be unveiling at Galaxy Unpacked next week.”
Initially, celestial blue hues emerged gradually unfolding into a sea of stars, orchestrating an otherworldly beginning to the showcase.
A voiceover guided the visual feast and eyes remained glued upwards as a majestic blue whale gracefully glided through the night sky. Moments later, the whale was joined by a recreation of the northern lights, followed by an explosion of blooming flowers – their colours illuminating the dark skies.
The event’s atmosphere took a vibrant turn when a football spiralled into view, moprhing into a jubilant goal-scoring celebration. Then to bring the display full circle, the appearance of floating lanterns cast a warm light into the crisp winter air.
Annika commented: “The display demonstrated the endless possibilities when art and technology combine.”
