has shared an emotional insight into the heartbreaking final nights of her sister before her tragic death at the age of 65.

Last week, Linda had shared an despite coming down with a “bout of flu”. However, she struggled to eat and when a bout of double pneumonia left her struggling to breath, she was rushed to hospital.
Her sisters Anne, 74, Denise, 72, Maureen, 69, and Coleen, 59, were summoned to her hospital bed at the grim hour of 3.30am on Tuesday (Janyary 14), as doctors opted to transfer her to end-of-life care, where and they stood watch, offering her comfort in the final hours.
It comes after the presenter opened up on Linda’s final months battling the terminal disease which had spread to her liver and brain last September.

Speaking to , Coleen said: “Certainly in public [there’s a smile on her face], but obviously there’s nights she goes to bed and [cries] because she’s totally on her own.
“You know, in your bedroom and your brain, you just overthink and I think they’re the times when she has her cry and and she’s scared.” Despite those fearful nights alone, Coleen gushed that Linda was “an absolute warrior.” She went on: “I look at her in awe.
“She treats chemo like she’s going to Tesco and it keeps coming back and battering her and she keeps on smiling and she still keeps getting out of bed [even though] she b****y hates it.”
Coleen also confessed that one of the most difficult aspects of her treatment was losing her hair. The broadcaster admitted: “She hates it, she hates being bald. I think that for her, that’s the most dramatic thing.

“She’s lost her hair, this is the fourth time… and then she gets embarrassed and she goes, ‘That’s really of vain of me’, and I’m like, ‘It’s not’.”
Following Wednesday’s tragic news, Coleen reposted her agent Dermot McNamara’s statement – originally released to – with a heartbroken emoji.
He gushed: “It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Linda Nolan, the celebrated Irish pop legend, television personality, Guinness World Record holding West End star, Sunday Times bestselling author and Daily Mirror columnist.
“She passed at around 10:20am at Blackpool Victoria Hospital on the MCEW Ward. The family said the hospital couldn’t do enough, they were tireless.”
The tribute continued: “She passed peacefully, with her loving siblings by her bedside, ensuring she was embraced with love and comfort during her final moments. Linda’s legacy extends beyond her incredible achievements in music and entertainment.
“She was a beacon of hope and resilience, sharing her journey to raise awareness and inspire others. Rest in peace, Linda. You will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.”
