Police in Surrey are advising drivers to find alternative routes after a fuel spill closed a key intersection on Wednesday afternoon.

The intersection at 152nd Street and 72nd Avenue in Fleetwood will be closed for at least two hours, said the Surrey Police Service in a notice posted at about 2:30 p.m.
Surrey Fire crews will need at least that long to clean up the spill, and motorists should find other routes as there will be major delays throughout the afternoon.
