Laura Ingraham Makes Infuriating Comparison To Kamala Harris Not Hosting Vance

Fox News host Laura Ingraham seemed to take false equivalence to a new level on Tuesday. (Watch the video below.)

In commenting on a report that Vice President Kamala Harris had declined to give VP-elect JD Vance and his family a tour of the veep’s residence, Ingraham told guest Clay Travis of Fox-owned Outkick:

“Weren’t the Democrats the ones who said Trump couldn’t accept the results of the last election, but they’re supposed to be our moral superiors, I understand?”

Ingraham appeared to compare Harris not putting out the welcome mat for her successor to Donald Trump’s attempts to upend the 2020 election. Dozens of court cases claiming fraud filed by Trump and his allies fizzled. His lies allegedly stirred one of the most tumultuous events in political history, the Jan. 6 Capitol riot. He continued to assert those falsehoods in his 2024 campaign and lay the groundwork for more rigging claims in case he lost to Harris in November, which he didn’t.

Furthermore, Harris did not receive a tour from outgoing GOP Veep Mike Pence in 2021. Not to mention that the Trumps snubbed Joe and Jill Biden in 2021 and weren’t even there for the inauguration as the former president refused to concede defeat.

Ingraham defended Trump’s actions because she said Biden was already familiar with the White House.

The Bidens will be at Trump’s second swearing-in. As will Harris. She just won’t be extending ceremonial hospitality to Vance, who called her “trash” on the eve of the election.
