Social media detectives are adamant that EastEnders’ Natalie Cassidy is the person behind ‘s “Bush”. However, during her Off The Telly podcast, Natalie sidestepped any speculation, asking co-host Joanna Page: “Can you imagine me doing that?”
She then firmly declared, “I am not Bush,” but Gavin and Stacey actress Joanna wasn’t convinced.
Natalie, who has always been uncomfortable performing in front of an audience, reminded Joanna that they see each other so frequently for their Sounds podcast that it would have been impossible to conceal the days she would have spent filming the ITV show.
“We have worked together for a whole year,” she said. “When would I have squeezed that in? “
Joanna playfully responded that she still had her doubts, and would be scrutinising the show for any additional hints linking her friend to the enigmatic Bush character.

To date, three celebrities have been ousted from this year’s The Masked Singer, with Grammy winner Macy Gray being the latest departure, seemingly disgruntled after her elimination, especially given her finalist status in the US version in 2023.
Post-unmasking, Gray provided terse responses to the panel, following her reveal from the Toad in the Hole costume.
A source speaking to The Sun expressed surprise at the incident: “This has never happened on The Masked Singer before.”
Macy was clearly disappointed to be eliminated from the show
They continued, detailing the backstage drama: “When Macy stormed off stage everyone was frozen in shock but as soon as she reached backstage, crew removed her mask so they could talk her down.”
The source revealed, “Macy was almost shellshocked to start with and was basically gutted to be out so early because she really enjoyed being on the American version – when obviously she did brilliantly – so was totally blindsided.”
The drama didn’t stop there, as an ITV source claimed to The Mirror that the American singer declined to participate in the post-show interview, a tradition for celebrities after their exit from the show.
