EE TV update offers lower price for Sky
If you want more things to watch then it’s worth checking out a new deal from EE. Yes, the UK mobile network now offers full telly access via its feature-packed EE TV service and it has just announced a bunch of offers on its premium bundles with prices now starting .
For that lower cost (was £49.99) you get a new EE TV box – which lets you record shows, watch live TV and access the most popular streaming apps – along with Netflix and Sky’s NOW service. That means you can watch endless boxsets and movies plus view channels such as Sky Atlantic, Sky Max and Sky Kids.
EE has even dropped the usual set-up fee, meaning there’s nothing to pay upfront. This deal is pretty good but it gets even better as EE is also throwing in basic Essential broadband as well with speeds of up to 75Mbps.
So, you get TV, Netflix, Sky and internet access for £43.99.
If you want even more to binge on, you can add all 11 Sky Cinema channels for £54.99 per month (it was £59.99). There’s also the option to get the “Full Works” bundle which adds TNT Sports and Sky Sports for £54.99 per month for the first three months.
It’s worth noting that prices will rise each March and you do have to sign up for a 24 month contract.
Of course, it’s not just EE that is offering cheaper Sky access. plan which features access to premium TV and Netflix for just £15 per month.
Unlike Sky Q, Sky Stream uses your broadband to access content which means there is no need for a dish to be stuck to your walls and no engineer needs to visit.
Sky Stream also includes all of the latest streaming services, personalised recommendations, simple recording via its Playlists function and a neat design that slips neatly under your telly.
