Subsequently, April resorted to alcohol and drugs and had a falling out with her father Marlon (Mark Charnock), before disappearing. Since then, a distraught Marlon, along with the rest of the village, has been desperate to locate April.

However, this week, CCTV footage showing a potential sighting of April dashing across a street in Leeds was shown to her family. In Tuesday’s episode (January 14), Marlon travelled to Leeds to distribute leaflets about April, reports .

In what could be a dramatic twist, viewers are convinced that April has already returned and was in close proximity to her father.
