In season 2 of Severance, we find Mark and colleagues grappling with the severe implications of meddling with the severing process, plunging them deeper into despair.
The drama of the first season finale revealed Mark S (Adam Scott) arriving at the home of his ‘outie,’ only to be confronted with the revelation that his presumed-dead wife is actually Ms Casey (Dichen Lachman), the wellness counsellor of Lumon.
Additionally, the season ended with other bombshells: Helly R (Britt Lower) unearths her identity as the Lumon CEO’s offspring and Irving B (John Turturro) is haunted by alarming memories linked to a menacing passageway.
Severance is executive produced by Stiller, who also directs five episodes this season, alongside directors Uta Briesewitz, Sam Donovan and Jessica Lee Gagne. The series is penned, created and executive produced by Erickson.

The inaugural episode of Severance’s second season will start streaming on Apple TV+ from Friday, January 17. New episodes will be made available weekly on the streaming platform, culminating with the season 2 finale on March 21.

Most of the main cast have been confirmed to reprise their roles for the second season and have been featured in various trailers. The returning cast includes Adam Scott, Britt Lower, Zach Cherry, John Turturro, Patricia Arquette and Tramell Tillman.
