The UK is brimming with beautiful and coastal that have their own uniqueness and plenty of things to offer.

However, there is one hidden gem that offers the chance to spot dolphins and enjoy the tranquillity of nature, far from the noisy, tourist-filled spots that often dominate the coastline.

Its charm is quietly spreading, with those who’ve discovered it eager to share their perfect, crowd-free getaway.

The little stretch of beach in the village of Skinningrove, North , boasts untouched beauty away from the usual coastal attractions that can sometimes spoil an otherwise relaxing experience.

I have just spent a week in the small Yorkshire village called Skinningrove, once a bustling steel manufacturing village, and now a very peaceful location to have a vacation.

Its hidden charm has kept it largely under the radar, with few people highlighting its appeal compared to more well-known spots.

However, those who have shared their experiences on travel review sites like TripAdvisor and Google have consistently praised this quiet, sandy haven.

Tripadvisor reviewer Meg B said: “I loved Skinningrove! The folk are friendly and helpful. The beach deserves 5* for cleanliness.

“It is quiet and on the Cleveland Way. The Iron Mine guided tour is a must and very interesting, the area being steeped in history.”

“There was absolutely no litter or dog mess on this beach, it was fabulous and also no facilities i.e. toilet/shop.

“It was so quiet when we visited, it was like walking on a private beach area! stunning!”

Freddiedoncaster wrote: “The fact that when you drive into the free car park, which is yards from the beach, and you’re not smelling cheap hotdogs being cooked, empty takeaway rubbish littered around, and amusement arcade sounds, you know you’re going to enjoy!

“Don’t be fooled if you think the beach you see is the only beach.

“If you walk along the pathway and through the gap, you’ll come across one of the most wonderful beaches in the UK.”
