has hit the big 80 and the Forever Young rocker marked the milestone in elaborate style. Despite his birthday falling on January 10, the extravagant festivities reportedly began weeks ago.
The entire Stewart family flew off to the Caribbean for a Celtic-themed party – a tribute to the Maggie May singer’s favourite football team.
In a photo shared online, Rod is seen beaming at the camera, surrounded by his loved ones. His wife , 53, also donned a Celtic top, paired with white shorts and a matching cap.
Joining Rod and Penny was the singer’s son Sean, 44, who sported a white vest, a green and blue tartan kilt and matching cap, and a green and white striped scarf, alongside his new girlfriend Julia Stambler, who was similarly attired in a black vest and matching tartan kilt and cap.
The family snapshot also featured THE younger sons, Alastair Wallace, 19, and Aiden Patrick, 13, as well as Rod’s son Liam Stewart, 30, and his wife Nicole.

His daughters Renee, 32, and Ruby, 37, were also in attendance, seen wearing green and white alongside their partners, Renee’s boyfriend Adam Sumner and Ruby’s fiance Jake Kalic.
And naturally, with the whole family gathered, Rod pulled out all the stops and chartered a 288ft vessel boasting nine suites for his guests, as well as a beauty salon, a gym, a Hammam, a swimming pool and a helipad.
The birthday bash, which is set to last over a week, is rumoured to be setting Rod back by up to £2.5 million. Up to 14 guests are thought to be attending the ritzy gathering.
Alastair, Rod’s son with Penny, took to social media to post a series of images, including a picture of the group about to take a plunge from a towering slide into the ocean.

Loose Women star Penny publicly shared birthday wishes for Rod on , accompanied by a picture of him basking in the sun wearing a straw hat and cracking a smile.
Her tribute read: “Happy birthday my darling. So blessed to be sharing this day together with all our kids. Building more memories to carry with us into the future and to be held close to our hearts forever, I love you xx.”
On his birthday Rob also promised fans he is “not finished yet”. He took to with a heartwarming post, thanking his loyal fans for supporting him over his six-decade career.

Fans can look forward to catching the star in the celebrated ‘legends’ slot at this approaching summer. He will also perform with Billy Joel at New York’s Yankee Stadium and return to Las Vegas for an encore residency at Caesars Palace.
