The Night Agent is set to return to Netflix with a fresh narrative and new characters, as Peter Sutherland (portrayed by Gabriel Basso) embarks on a new mission. The action-packed thriller is an adaptation of Matthew Quirk’s novel bearing the same title.

Despite the single book serving as the source material, the series’ popularity led to extend it for two more seasons. Following its debut in March 2023, it ranked as the third most viewed new series on within the initial four days.

Within a week, it was renewed for a second season and within a month, it climbed to be the sixth most viewed series on the streaming platform. The second season was filmed in New York City, Thailand, and Washington.

The upcoming season’s trailer reveals Peter being pursued by a gang after his secret hideout is exposed. Peter had been probing into a potential leak at the CIA and had gone AWOL.

The season comprises 10 episodes, all of which will be available simultaneously on the streaming service.

Who’s set to star in The Night Agent season 2?

The upcoming season, which unfolds a fresh narrative in a different setting, will introduce a host of new characters.

Brittany Snow, known for her role in Pitch Perfect, is set to portray Alice, the new partner and mentor of Peter in Night Action.

Amanda Warren, who previously appeared in The Leftovers, will take on the role of Catherine, Peter’s new boss.

Arienne Mandi has been cast as Noor, an aide at the Iranian mission to the United Nations.

The series will also feature Louis Herthum as Jacob Monroe and Berto Colon as Solomon.

Keon Alexander will play Javad, a colleague of Noor.
