ITV’s morning show witnessed a slice of unscripted drama as Andi Peters nearly tumbled into a mishap live on Lorraine.
During the January 14 edition, Lorraine Kelly teed up the competition segment before switching to Andi, who was nonchalantly lounging on a gigantic inflatable unicorn in an infinity pool with the stunning backdrop of the Indian Ocean.
“Let’s rejoin our Andi, who is in the Maldives. Oh my god, Andi on a unicorn, come on. It doesn’t get any better than that,” declared Lorraine enthusiastically.
However, things quickly soured as Andi began to drift perilously close to the water’s edge, his alarm palpable as he let out screams.
“Sorry, I’ve never gone this close to the edge, Lorraine, metaphorically and physically,” yelled Andi, prompting Lorraine to caution him from the studio to “be careful”, reports .

Desperate for assistance, the beloved Good Morning Britain presenter implored: “Can someone just make sure I don’t fall off?” Thankfully, a swift response from the ITV crew saw a member dart into the frame to steer the inflatable away from impending danger.
A visibly relieved Andi caught his breath, drawing applause from Lorraine back in the studio.
“Oh, my life! Sorry about that. I genuinely thought I was going off the edge. Right, I’m back now,” he said, regaining his composure and carrying on with the show.
Andi then divulged the enticing details of the programme’s contest, boasting a prize north of £140,000.
The tantalising prize for viewers a luxurious getaway to the Maldives where they could relish the tranquillity of a villa featuring an infinity pool.

“These pools look right out onto the Indian Ocean that you could fall in if you’re on a pink flamingo, but you won’t because you won’t be on a pink flamingo because I’m taking this one home with me and throwing it in the bin,” Andi cheekily remarked before being corrected by a crew member that he was actually on a unicorn, not a flamingo.
“I don’t even know my animals! I’m under so much stress right now, and there’s only 10 seconds left! ” exclaimed Andi, adding humour to his plight.
Lorraine airs weekdays on ITV at 9am.
