Michael McIntyre has spilled the beans on a major shake-up to his Big Show, which is gearing up for a side-splitting eighth season return this Saturday (January 18) on One.

The comedian has given fans a sneak peek into what they can expect from the fresh episodes, revealing a “hilarious” new segment that’s sure to have audiences in stitches.

“The big news is that we have a new item called Remember Me, where a celebrity sits in the Royal Box and a person from any time in their past appears on stage,” he divulged. The celeb must then rack their brains to figure out how they’re acquainted with the enigmatic guest.

“It could be anyone from the midwife who birthed them, to a holiday romance or the driver who bought them to the theatre,” Michael added. “I play it with Miranda Hart, Alan Carr and Holly Willoughby with hilarious results.”

The upcoming “jam-packed” series will also see the much-loved Send to All making a comeback, with Judi Love, Tony Bellew and Michael Sheen bravely surrendering their smartphones, reports .

Zara McDermott and Sam Thompson are set for an unexpected appearance in the Midnight Gameshow, filmed prior to their reported breakup. Josh Widdicombe will also find himself rudely awakened to tackle some bizarre questions.

“Sam and Zara’s Midnight Gameshow was a highlight too as they had locked their bedroom door from the inside! So, I couldn’t get in!” Michael recounted. “They were terrified as I had to knock on the door – but thankfully they then had the time of their lives.”

The Wheel on Wheels van is back in action, trawling the streets of Birmingham to find a live viewer of the game show.

In an unexpected twist, Michael stumbles upon an Indian takeaway where The Wheel is being broadcasted, leading to an impromptu game for the customers with food and prizes up for grabs.

Michael McIntyre’s Big Show returns this weekend on One.
