Celebrity Mastermind fans were glued to their screens when things took an awkward turn for star Danny Miller.
During Monday’s visit to the studios, beloved host welcomed four new contestants on the show to put their general knowledge to the test.
For a celebrity edition of the show, the 60-year-old broadcaster welcomed the soap hunk, TV presenter Josie D’Arby, weather presenter Elizibeth Rizzini and sports broadcaster Qasa Alom to raise money for their chosen charity.
Coming out on top with an impressive score of 23 was the meteorologist Rizzini, but it’s fair to say the Aaron Dingle star had a different experience on the show.
The 34-year-old actor struggled to wow viewers on the show after he achieved a total of 10 points across both the specialist and general knowledge round.

The star achieved seven points in his specialist subject – the works of children’s author Julia Donaldson – and a mere three points on general knowledge, leaving him in fourth place.
Fans couldn’t help but chuckle at the TV star’s dismay after his unusual answer to Myrie’s question: “The Latin term regina, often abbreviated to the letter R for instance in royal ciphers, translates into English as what word for a female monarch?”
It was at this point a deflated Miller simply replied: “Monsignor” before Myrie revealed that the title he was looking for was in fact “queen”.
After his disappointing performance in the hot seat, the dad-of-two appeared to spend the rest of the show sulking in his chair.
While the other contestants took their turn in the hot seat, Miller could be seen looking unhappy in the background, with his arms crossed and legs kicked out in front of him as he watched on.

Later on in the show, the I’m A Celebrity king appeared to embody the epitome of boredom when he was seen stretching and scratching himself throughout the show.
It didn’t take long before fans flooded to X – formerly known as Twitter – to share their complaints about his behaviour online.
One user fumed: “The guy from . Sulking. Pathetic” as another observed: “That Danny bloke looks furious. His body language as well… He wants out of there.”
A third echoed: “That Danny chap looks like a right sulky brat” as a fourth joked: “Danny Miller on Mastermind…” alongside a gif of the famous meme grumpy cat.
Meanwhile, others compared the star’s sour behaviour to Macy Gray’s meltdown after she was eliminated from The Masked Singer – where she stormed off the stage in protest.
One user posted: “I thought Danny was going to have a Macy Gray moment just then! Or internally implode!” as another added: “Danny Miller doing a proper Macy Gray stop on”.
However, some viewers took pity on the actor after his disappointing performance on the teatime quiz show. One user added: “I felt sorry for him – he didn’t look like he was having a good time.”
