have announced an emotional tribute to their late bandmate, by re-releasing their 2013 hit documentary ‘This Is Us’ with all proceeds going to charity. The famous quintet, who were brought together by and on in 2010, soared to global success, selling more than 70 million records worldwide.
Devastatingly, Liam in Buenos Aires last year at only 31 years old, plunging fans across the globe into mourning.
The remembrance screening of the film, directed by the celebrated Morgan Spurlock who himself passed away at 53 after a battle with cancer, is set to light up screens at Odeon cinemas this Tuesday for one night only. The heartfelt gesture sees all proceeds from the event being channeled to mental health charities, honouring the memory of Payne.
In a touching statement via social media, Odeon Cinemas announced: “By popular demand, and in tribute to the late Liam Payne, we’re bringing One Direction: This is Us back to the big screen January 14. We’ll be donating all ticket profits from this screening to the mental health awareness charities MIND, SAMH and AWARE NI.”

In the wake of Liam’s tragic passing, the band has issued a heart-wrenching tribute, stating: “We will take some time to grieve and process the loss of our brother, who we loved dearly. We will miss him terribly. We love you, Liam.”
Additionally, Harry Styles has extended his personal sorrow, saying: “The years we spent together will forever remain among the most cherished of my life. I will miss him always, my lovely friend”.
Louis, a fellow bandmate, paid an emotional tribute to Liam, saying: “the kind brother I’d longed all my life for.”
He further reflected on their shared experiences by adding: “Reminiscing about all the thousands of amazing memories we had together is a luxury I thought I’d have with you for life.”
Louis also made a heartfelt promise, stating: “I want you to know that if Bear ever needs me I will be the Uncle he needs in his life and tell him stories of how amazing his dad was.”
