A house-hunting hopeful on Channel 4’s A Place in the Sun didn’t hesitate to express their dissatisfaction when their property tour came to an abrupt halt.
On Monday’s episode (January 13), host Jasmine Harman returned to guide another British duo dreaming of relocating to warmer climates. In this particular episode, it was Richard taking the lead, accompanied by his mate Peter to hunt down the ideal holiday retreat in Spain.
Armed with an ample budget of £210,000, Richard aimed to snag a stunning residence in Sitges. His search began on a high note, but as they delved deeper, presenter Jasmine struggled to keep the pair enthused.
When shown the fourth property, Richard’s disappointment was palpable, and he saw no point in prolonging the tour. From the balcony, overlooking a dense cluster of houses, Richard decisively told Jasmine: “I think I’ve seen enough. This isn’t the property for me.”

However, after a night’s reflection, Richard confided in Jasmine that his primary concern with the property was its lack of sunlight. This reservation ultimately led him to decide against making an offer.
