Brittany and Patrick Mahomes have welcomed a baby girl!
Golden Raye Mahomes arrived on Sunday, Jan. 12, 2025, according to an Instagram post the parents shared Monday.
The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback and his wife share two other children, 3-year-old daughter Sterling Skye Mahomes and 2-year-old son Patrick “Bronze” Lavon Mahomes.
In July 2024, the couple’s gender reveal showed they were expecting a baby girl. In an Instagram post, Sterling played a game of tic-tac-toe in which pink “X” letters “won” the game while her family cheered at the news.
The Mahomeses had announced their third pregnancy that very month in an Instagram post titled “Round three, here we come.” In the video, Brittany shows a sonogram photo.
In December 2024, Brittany shared images from a pregnancy photo shoot for which she wore blue jeans and a loose white blouse. “Mom of 3 loading…” she captioned the Instagram post.
Recently, Patrick Mahomes, 29, glowed about anticipating baby No. 3, telling reporters, “I wanted to have kids young,” while praising Brittany, 29, for doing “a great job” as a mother.
As Brittany explained in a 2021 now-expired Instagram story, the name Sterling was chosen in connection with their two dogs, Steel and Silver, the latter of whom was almost named Sterling.
“We thought of Sterling and I said no, when I have a daughter one day I want that to be her name,” wrote Brittany. “So then we came up with Silver instead for our pup. So now we have Steel, Silver and Sterling.”
