Thankfully, one woman on has cracked the code for keeping your space tidy and clutter-free – and it only takes minutes to do each day.

Lifestyle influencer , a self-proclaimed ‘former messy girl’ with more than 82k followers, says that there are a couple of easy tricks that are ‘genuinely life-changing’ when it comes to maintaining a clean home.
And they aren’t drastic either – they’re more focused on small habits you can do every day to prevent too much mess from building up.
One of her tips involves taking as little as five minutes at the end of each day to perform a ‘closing shift’ on your house before you head off to bed.
This could be as simple as fluffing the couch cushions, putting dishes away and giving the bathroom sink a wipe down – any small and manageable task that doesn’t take up a lot of time.

She says this eliminates the need to spend a full Sunday doing a ‘reset’, leaving you with more time to do the things you actually want to do.
In a, she said: “Instead of waiting until Sunday to clean everything, take 5-10 minutes at the end of every day to do a ‘closing shift’.
“There’s nothing better than waking up to a clean home! And it feels so much more manageable than a big weekly reset.”
Another ultra-easy yet effective habit to adopt in 2025 that could really help you keep your home tidy is to use your time wisely when you’re cooking food.
Leah suggested: “Water boiling? Unload the dishwasher. Pizza in the oven? Throw in a load of laundry.”
Showing off her breakfast, she continued: “I make this yoghurt bowl every morning and I unload the dishwasher when the frozen berries are defrosting in the microwave.
“It’s a minute of my day that I would have been standing around wasting anyways.”
