Ryan Thomas was crowned the winner of Dancing on Ice in 2024
made its triumphant return to screens this evening, with a new batch of celebrities taking to the ice for the first time this series.
A number of huge names have signed up to the 2025 series, including icon Charlie Brooks, star Sam Aston and five-time Olympic gold medalist Sir Steve Redgrave.
The trio are joined by Hollyoaks actress Chelsee Healey, ‘s Chris Taylor, presenter and TOWIE stars Dan Edgar and Ferne McCann.
Comedian Josh Jones, former footballer Anton Ferdinand and Traitors star Mollie Pearce will also be showing off their skating skills on the ITV show.
Each celebrity has strapped on their skates in the hopes of walking away as the winner, like star Ryan Thomas did in 2024.

But what do the contestants get for appearing on the hit ITV show?
Every celebrity that participates in the competition receives a set fee for their appearance, as do their professional partners.
Unfortunately, there is no cash prize for the star who is crowned the winner of Dancing on Ice. The champion doesn’t walk away empty handed however, as they receive a trophy to take home with them.
is returning as the show’s presenter for her seventeenth series and will be joined for the second year running by Stephen Mulhern, who replaced in 2024.
Meanwhile the contestants will be hoping to impress judges , Ashley Banjo, Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean.

The Paralympic grand champion, 47, took to to break the news with her followers, admitting she was “gutted” to be leaving the competition just one month before its launch.
She wrote: “Absolutely gutted to have my Dancing on Ice training interrupted in this way – just as my first routine with Sylvian was really coming together [ice skating emoji].
“An awkward stumble and fall with my left foot stuck up on the ice sadly led to me fracturing my left ankle. I’m so fortunate that both Sylvian and my Coach Stephen Pickvance were by my side and knew exactly what to do and the medical backup for the show is truly world class.
“The Head of Medical Sharon Morris wasted no time in getting me to the very best surgeon so I’m already fixed and home with rehab underway!”
