Most iconic episode of Four in a Bed ever sees B&B owner suffer meltdown over eggs

‘s has seen many entertaining moments over the past 15 years, but users believed they have found the “best ever” episode to hit the airwaves.

The long-running show first hit the airwaves back in 2010, and it didn’t take long before it struck a chord with viewers. The show sees four B&B owners battle it out to be crowned the best BB owner on the show.

Each week, four B&B owners take it in turns to show off their fine establishments under the tough scrutiny of the other three contestants.

Not only do they delight viewers with a tour of their property, but they also take the cast out for a day of activities before treating them to a scrumptious breakfast the following day.

But everything doesn’t always go to plan on the show, with the cast regularly checking for cleanliness and good food hygine as well as a wam and welcoming atmostphere.

Now, users on believe they have found one of the most iconic episodes in the show’s history which has left many in stitches over the hilarious antics.

The 2017 episode features a former IT consultant called Gary Pesticcio and his daughter Naomi welcoming people to their high-tech B&B Solar Strand Express in Crosskeys, Wales.

When a user, who had never watched the programme before, asked for episode recommendations fans of the show on the platform people didn’t hesitate to recommend it.

“Series 11 eps 56-60: unreal week, the fella purposefully orders poached eggs/eggs at every brekkie elsewhere. Brags about his own cooking. His BnB is the final visit and he f**** up the eggs at brekkie and has a total meltdown that everyone overhears.

“Also was snobby in the other hotels but his place was a basic and tacky dump,” one wrote in a scathing review of the property.”

Their opinion was shared by others who also jumped in the comments to recommend the episode. Another added: “Obviously the ‘egg man’ who ordered eggs for breakfast at every b & b, and marked others harshly on their eggs, bragged about how amazing his eggs were etc.

“When it came to his turn he couldn’t cook eggs at all (except in some contraption which didn’t work) so declared eggs were off the menu.

“He also wore a cowboy hat and had a volcano themed restaurant which was just painted red with a couple of canvas pictures of volcanoes on the walls. Total k** head. I think it was him and his daughter.”

A third echoed: “Just his whole character rubbed me the wrong way. With the hat – b******, without the hat-somehow worse? I loved how he got a slating during the payment day but it was the daughter most of the time marking others down so much and she just kept quiet and let her dad take it lol.”

A fourth was delighted with the recommendation posting: “Watched it last night and. Oh my God it was even better than all my hopes and dreams.

“The volcano canvases with words like ‘Experience’ come on man… and the daughter dynamic was so funny. 10/10 thank you SO much for the recommendation and you deserve every award!!! Since your taste is so top tier if you have any other corkers please do let me know!” they exclaimed.

During the show it was obvious some of their guests were put off by the decor and one couple in particular, Jon and Chelli, were determined to get revenge for Gary’s feedback on their property.

They had a genuine reason to be irked when breakfast went completely awry. Gary and Naomi’s high-tech cooking gadgets let them down, leading him to admit he couldn’t make poached eggs despite bragging about his skills in earlier episodes.

This gave him no option but to pull anything poached or boiled from the menu much to the other contestants surprise.
