Princess Kate has one sweet nickname by royal fans
has been capturing the hearts of royal fans for well over a decade, with the love for the future Queen seeming to increase more and more as time goes on.
Over the last year, the Princess of Wales, 42, has had to step back from duty , with the princess now set to continue with her gradual return to work which began in September after the end of her chemotherapy treatment.
This return to work will be gradual but will include some of Kate’s most beloved projects, including work in association with her Shaping Us project.
This was launched by the mum-of-three in 2023, with an aim to focus on the first five years of a child’s life and how that impacts their future.
Since starting the project almost two years ago, Kate has undergone various research and engagements to improve understanding about children’s mental health and work on ways which will help everyone have as good a start to life as possible.

As well as being very supported by members of the public, the princess’ project has also resulted in her being dubbed “The Children’s Princess” by royal fans, a phrase used often when talking about Kate.
This resembles a similar nickname bestowed on ’s mother the late Princess Diana, who was nicknamed “The People’s Princess” in 1992 for addressing causes that affected those struggling most in society.
One fan wrote about Kate on X: “Princess Catherine/Kate always takes her time in engaging with children and they always want to give her a hug as kids can sense good people.
“She’s so lovely and Diana would have loved her #TheChildrensPrincess.”

Another recently said: “Catherine is genuinely loved by children. She is The Children’s Princess.
“She does not just pop up to children’s hospitals out of nowhere for clout, she leads initiatives and campaigns that are focused on children’s welfare and development and exceptionally deliver on these initiatives.”
Princess Kate was as she spent time greeting well-wishers after attending a church service.
The Princess will continue her gradual return to work this year.
