Lewis Hamilton and Angela Cullen worked together at Mercedes for seven years
Angela Cullen sent a clear message as she swapped motorsport for the ski slope. The 50-year-old worked with the F1 star for seven years during his time with , before the duo went their separate ways at the start of 2023.
Hamilton followed Cullen through the Silver Arrows exit door at the end of last season after winning six of his seven world titles with the team.
The 40-year-old will race for this season after signing a contract to replace at the Italian outfit.
Cullen previously worked as Hamilton’s physiotherapist and trainer, and was often seen alongside the blockbuster star during F1 weekends.
But Hamilton confirmed she was embarking on a new chapter to “pursue her dreams” as he announced her departure.

Cullen took to social media recently to post an image of herself wearing a coat in the colours of while standing on a ski slope.
In the background there is a sign displaying the No. 44 in an apparent nod to Hamilton. And the image has even sparked rumours of a reunion between the two.
Hamilton has driven with a No. 44 car ever since his karting days and will continue to use the same number during his time with .

After Hamilton and Cullen parted ways, the F1 star wrote on : “For the last seven years @cullen_angela has been by my side, pushing me to be the best version of myself. I am a stronger athlete and a better person because of her.
“So today I hope you’ll join me in wishing her the very best as she takes her next steps to pursue her dreams. Thank you for everything Ang, I can’t wait to see what the future has in store for you.”
And he revealed at the 2023 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix: “Angela and I are good. She’s in a different phase of her life, we’re still super close.
“We keep texting every day, massively supportive and I’m massively supportive of her, so grateful to have had her with me on this journey. She’s one of my closest friends and continues to be.”
Cullen, meanwhile, paid tribute to Hamilton in her own post at the time as she penned: “It’s been such an honour and pleasure to stand alongside you. I’m so proud of you and everything you have achieved. Thank you for supporting me, believing in me and showing me the limitless potential we all have within us.”
