revealed in a heartbreaking post that she has a secret connection to one beautiful UK county for a particularly heartfelt reason.
On Tuesday, the Duchess of Sussex, 43, took to with a sweet video paying tribute to her rescue beagle Guy, who almost a decade after being adopted by the duchess.
In the emotional post, Meghan mentioned Surrey and revealed the connection she has with the area.
Meghan disclosed that Guy had survived a terrible accident before her move to the UK in 2017, which required operations over several months.
Alongside her husband, , Meghan said they would drive hours to see Guy “as he recovered in Surrey for months on end.”

“Doctors said he would never walk again, but Dr Noel Fitzpatrick said he could do it,” she stated. “(Harry) and I would drive late at night, after hours, to see Guy as he recovered in Surrey for months on end.”
Guy was treated at Dr Fitzpatrick’s surgery in Eashing, a hour and fifteen minute drive from Nottingham Cottage, on the Kensington Palace estate, where the Duke and Duchess lived at the time.
Eashing is a hamlet a mile and a half south-east of Shackleford on the River Wey, a mile west of Godalming.
The vet, who stars on Channel 4’s the Supervet, reportedly helped the beagle recover enough to walk again – something they originally feared would not be possible.

Despite Meghan appearing to have complicated feelings towards the UK, her emotional post revealed her fond feelings for the small hamlet of Eashing.
The heartbreaking tribute also featured sweet clips and pictures of the beloved dog, with in the video.
Alongside the video, Meghan wrote: “In 2015, I adopted a beagle from a dog rescue in Canada. He had been at a kill shelter in Kentucky and given a few days to live. I swooped him up….and fell in love. They referred to him as ‘the little guy’ because he was so small and frail, so I named him ‘Guy’. And he was the best guy any girl could have asked for.”
