The food waste app Too Good to Go has become a sensation in the UK, with many eager to secure bags from their preferred retailers. However, is it truly worth the effort of collecting and consuming the items on the same day or hoping for freezable goods?

@beckysbazaar pondered this question when she collected her Greggs bag from Warrington, costing her £2.59.

Back in her , she revealed the impressive haul she had secured, with many claiming that Greggs offers the “best value” on the app. “Let’s see what’s inside,” she said, pulling out a bacon and cheese wrap, an eclair, two pink iced doughnuts, a pack of cold sausage rolls, a chargrilled chicken oval bite sandwich, and a chicken salad baguette.

She asked her followers if they thought the food was £2.59, and the comments were filled with astonishment at the amount she had managed to acquire. One person commented: “All that for £2.59? Wow! That is cheap! Making me hungry!” Another added: “Greggs Too Good to Go bags are the best value of all the companies who participate.”

However, one user disagreed, stating they had recently seen someone with a substantial haul from Marks and Spencer’s.

The viral streak did not end there as another user, @lifeatgully, swaggered over to Crave Catering LTD in Leicester anticipating a modest haul but ended up awestruck with a “mega haul”.

His treasure included festive gingerbread biscuits, a flapjack, a ham and English mustard sandwich, a baguette, and several other savoury delights leading him to exclaim they looked “bangin’.”

Not stopping at the first bag, he was further surprised by a free second bag teeming with more goodies: a Christmas vanilla cream square, additional sandwiches, and even a salad bowl.

Displaying his trove, he couldn’t contain his excitement: “Oh, oh my God, look.”

As the community chimed in on his discovery, supporters showed their enthusiasm in the comments with standout endorsements like: “Best one yet, look at that mega haul” and others itching for a surprise bag full of crisps… that would be the DREAM!”
