Elden Ring Nightreign
One of the , Elden Ring Nightreign is coming to , PlayStation 4, , Xbox One and PC in 2025.
With a , Elden Ring developer FromSoftware will hold a Network Test to check the servers ahead of launch.
This means fans will be able to play the game early and without a pre-order.
Taking place across various 3-hour periods, the Elden Ring Nightreign network test has a February 14 release date.
The first test takes place from 11am to 2pm GMT UK time on February 14, followed by a second testing period from 3am GMT until 6am GMT on February 15.
The third test takes place from 7pm GMT until 10pm GMT on February 15, while the fourth runs from 11am to 2pm GMT UK time on February 16. The final test is from 3am GMT until 6am GMT on February 17.
Users can apply to participate in the Elden Ring Nightreign Network Test by and clicking Apply Now under the embedded trailer.
The registration period ends on January 20. FromSoftware will inform players by January 30.
It’s worth noting that the Network Test will only be available to users aged 18 or over. Likewise, you’ll need either a PS5 or Xbox Series X|S.
Hopefully a PC Network Test will take place later this year ahead of launch.
Set in a universe parallel to the events of Elden Ring, players must “outlast a three day-and-night cycle”, culminating in a boss battle at the end of the adventure.
It’s described as a “condensed action RPG”, where players will never experience the same journey twice.
There’s a roguelike element to the game, with players earning relics to to customise and upgrade their characters for future runs and increase stats.
The action is also limited to a version of Elden Ring starting area Limgrave, although it looks like the locations will shift during each playthrough.
