Bryson DeChambeau was left in shock after selecting one lucky amateur golf player to attempt to replicate his viral hole-in-one challenge in his latest YouTube video. The two-time US Open champion is carving out a successful second career in social media and had viewers gripped by his popular series.

DeChambeau made it a daily mission to try and hit a golf ball over his lavish home and into a golf hole in his back garden, finally achieving the feat with his 14th shot on day 16.

The 31-year-old opened his doors for a lucky fan to follow in his footsteps, building on the success of his entertaining challenge.

DeChambeau gave an amateur named Jimmy and his camera crew just seven hours to achieve an improbable hole-in-one for a life-changing £81,877 ($100,000) prize.

He fancied the punter’s chances before the challenge, predicting him to take five hours and 43 minutes to bag the jackpot.

“I think there are going to be some ups and downs throughout this challenge. He’s not going to be able to know how far to hit it; what’s a 95-yard shot?” DeChambeau said.

“As we start telling him where the balls are landing and how it’s going, he’ll start to get the flow of it.

“And then about three hours in, he’ll start struggling, and his back will start helping, but at the 43-minute mark, he’ll finally get it done.”

However, the video descended into pure delirium after Jimmy’s fifth attempt was met with a cry of “IT’S IN!” from a crew member stationed on DeChambeau’s green.

The jaw-dropping 100-yard effort over the golf superstar’s 33-foot home left both manically jumping in celebration.

A stunned DeChambeau shouted: “Literally took him six minutes to make it. It took me 134 frickin balls! You kicked my butt, bro! That’s so sick. How did that go in!”

During the adrenaline rush, Jimmy hilariously claimed that the moment was “up there with his wedding day” and added: “So don’t tell my wife!”

While holding the winning ball in sheer delight, the fan added: “That was incredible. Thank you to Bryson. This is incredible. Life-changing, man. Thank you.”

He later video-called his wife and kids to share the news, making for uplifting content to add to DeChambeau’s growing online presence.

DeChambeau’s YouTube channel elevated to new levels in July when he took on re-elected US president in his ‘Break 50’ challenge, raking in an eye-watering 13 million views.

The world No. 4 enjoyed a positive 2024 on the course, winning £5.6million ($6.9m) in prize money from PGA Tour competitions, including his second US Open triumph.

DeChambeau also competed in 14 LIV Golf events, producing his best performance by placing third at LIV Golf Nashville.
